About the Artist
I was a long-dormant golfer until the pandemic dropped, and like many others we met on the courses, me and the crew played so much golf that we kept the local economy going. Playing that much golf took us from the point of being so awful I didn’t even bother keeping score, to getting to just below bogey golf.
And by not being so bad at it anymore, I had more time to take in the sights while playing. I’ve always been an artist, and I while I absorbed the scenery, the ideas found on this site started to form. A kind of abstraction and breaking down the elements of the game into simpler arrangements of colors and shapes that I haven’t seen out there in the golf art world.
I hope to keep getting out there to the links as much as I can, but am just thankful that golf propelled me to be more active with producing art again, which if successful, will fund more golf outings, and thus more art, and so on, until they kick me off this course.

Current Handicap
Really should be single digits, amirite? Not counting the pars that were technically bogeys if the flag stick was left out. But I'm happy with the slightly below bogey average. And still inching down.

Coolest Place I've Played
The Links at Castletown on the Isle of Man. We weren't planning on playing, but when you fly in, you fly over that course. Club rentals and greens fees off-off-season made it a no-brainer call. Lost to my buddy by shooting a 101. Yea, after making birdie on hole 1, it went swiftly downhill. I could easily knock off 20 strokes next time knowing some of the features of the course. And the whipping wind really didn't push the ball as much as we thought, so we overcompensated on many of the shots.

Course Bucketlist
Top of the list has to be that course next to the Great Pyramids in Egypt. Not sure if it's even a good course, just would be super cool with them in the background of every shot. I haven't played much outside of the mid-atlantic, but I've got many years of golf ahead of me so there's always hope to see some even more great courses all over the place, have some beers, and put me down for par.
